Do Steroids Turn People Into Killers?

Questions are being asked whether steroids turn people into vicious human beings.

According to several doctors that spoke on CNN today (not to be confused with the doctors that are taking care of the homicide/suicide), several of them believe that steroids change and altar people's ability to think rationally.

In my personal experience, I had a friend once who took steroids and it made him much more irritable.
In many cases, it made him angry & depressed.

Who knows, I'm sure we'll all find out soon!

In the mean time, my hearts and prayers are with Benoits family: wife & son.

Too Tight?

In a recent luncheon, Jessica Simpson and long time friend, Lane Garrison, went for lunch Friday afternoon in LA.

My only concern is that Lane's jeans were too tight...

Maybe that explains the funny walking?

Either way, bulging is so not cool.

In addition, Garrison plead guilty last month to one count of vehicular manslaughter, one count of felony DUI with bodily injury and one misdemeanor count of providing alcohol to a minor.
His sentencing is scheduled for August 2 and he faces five years and eight months in prison.

I just hope Garrison wasn't asking Jessica for prison pointers !
He should be asking Paris!

Last week, Oprah had a show about Racism.
It stirred a lot of controversy.

A man came on the show who developed a test (YOU can take) that identifies whether you prefer white people to black or black people to white.

The test was created by Harvard profs who believe the test does NOT lie.

I took the test today and found out (as liberal as I thought I was) to be more favorable towards white people.
I thought I was very accepting towards all races...and still do...but they test showed otherwise.

Anyway, I strongly agree that if we don't talk about racism then it will continue to happen.
This test is a step towards the right direction.

Racism only stays alive in silence.

Pride Week Begins In Toronto!

TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF PRIDE WEEK 2007 IN TORONTO!

HAPPY PRIDE EVERYONE!




Pride Week 2007 had an operating budget of $1.4 million with 32 per cent of those funds supplied from corporate sponsorship -- an evolution from its meagre beginnings as a politically-fuelled march in 1981.
Along with support from corporate sponsors, such as CTV, the festival is funded by three tiers of government.
This year, the city provided Pride Toronto with a grant of $105,000.
"We are very delighted that we are considered one of eight signature events that the city of Toronto recognizes for cultural reasons," David Anderson said (Pride Toronto Co-Chair).
"And while we are grateful for that, we think it's a really smart investment on the part of the city for the economic return that is generated."
An economic impact study conducted by Pride Toronto found the festival generated an $80-million economic stimulus to the local economy.
"It's important to note that this remains a free festival for our guests," Anderson said.
"Many Pride festivals in other cities, particularly in the U.S., charge for entry into their site, but we work very hard to get the appropriate levels of funding to maintain a free and accessible festival."
More than a million people descend on the city every year for the massive arts and culture event.

The Much Music Video Awards: Sunday, June 17th, 2007

This Sunday, June 17th, the most watched and attended music awards show in Canada host their very own awards show.

Much Music is located at the CHUM-City Building just above the city's Entertainment District in the Queen Street West neighbourhood.

The show begins @ 9PM EST or watch it online @ www.muchmusic.com

MuchMusic is the most popular music channel in Canada, and has been holding the event since 1990. Roughly 6000 fans line the streets surrounding Much headquarters each year, and 1200 more score "the wristband" and enjoy a free festival-style show in the parking lot, watching four outdoor performance areas spread out in the downtown location. New this year is a special roof-top stage, on the top of the building.

Last year's show reached 3.5 million viewers in Canada and 100 million around the globe, with broadcasts in 65 countries.
Performing at the show will be Avril Lavigne, Fergie, Billy Talent, Hilary Duff, Alexisonfire, Maroon 5, Belly, The Used, and Finger Eleven.







On stage presenting will be Nickelback, Jay Manuel (Canada's Next Top Model, America's Next Top Model), Tara Reid (American Pie, this fall's Land of Canaan), Joss Stone, Sum 41, Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia, Grudge 2), Hedley, Chris Bosh (Toronto Raptors), Sean Avery (New York Rangers), George, Sam Roberts, Emilie de Ravin (LOST), Marianas Trench, and Kardinal Offishall.

Well, Lily Allen has had enough!

The singer posted a rampage on her blog entitled, "FUCK OFF, FUCK OFF".

She goes on about how the paparazzi and tabloids twist everything she says.

Here's part of what she had to say:

"The thing is , im not going to write here so often now . this used to be one of my favourite things to do . I could come on here and vent how i feel honestly and get feedback from you guys . But the tabloid fucks have ruined it . Everything i write here gets twisted and rewritten buy a bunch of lazy fucks who havent got anything better to write about . And the truth is I don't want to be in their fucking stupid magazines and daily fuck rags . Infact I hate it , i dont want to be a celebrity , I am a singer , I write songs , thats it . "Plans for Kelly Clarkson's summer tour have been shelved for now as the singer and her team re-evaluate her show's size and scope - a decision made even more difficult by the impending release of her album, My December," her publicist said in a statement Thursday.

This just means they are affraid it's gonna FLOP! Includding her new album!

Nicholas-Sean has inside sources on the set of "The Bourne Ultimatum" starring Matt Damon, stating that things are looking MESSY!

Although The Bourne Ultimatum is now in post-production (editing stage), exclusive sources to Nicholas-Sean reveal they recalled Matt Damon back to the set!

The director, Paul Greengrass flew Matt Damon out to NYC in a rush to film missing & key scenes!!!!

While the editing stage is in process, Matt Damon is still filming...LOL.

Set to be released August 3rd, the producer's are quite concerned it won't make it's opening date!

Does this mean it will be a terrible film!?

Either way, I'll still go see it for Matt Damon. LOL

Rod Stewart's Son; Sean Stewart - Faces Assault Charges

OKAY, when I get mad...the LAST thing I do...is throw a brick at someone...

Well Rod Stewart's son, Sean, does just that!

The 26-year-old was arrested this week in California for throwing a brick at a innocent couple.

Sean Stewart was taken into custody Tuesday on a warrant charging him with four felony counts, including assault with a deadly weapon, throwing a substance at a vehicle and vandalism, the district attorney's office said.

Stewart, who was released on US$60,000 bail, was scheduled to be arraigned July 3.

'Our investigation has shown that the alleged victim only named Sean Stewart as a suspect after hearing that Mr. Stewart was at the party that night and that the alleged victim had a financial motive to make these allegations against Mr. Stewart,'' Peter J. Korn, Stewart's attorney said in a statement to celebrity news website TMZ.com.
