In a video blog posted Saturday on her website, O'Donnell said she didn't think she and Hasselbeck would ever speak again.
"I haven't spoken to her, and I probably won't, and I think it's just as well," O'Donnell said. "I wrote her an email, and she wrote me back, and there you have it."
O'Donnell also said she never really fit in on the show.
Brandy and a man who was hurt in a deadly freeway crash involving her Range Rover are suing each other. Brandy, whose real name is Brandy Norwood, and Mallory Ham of Simi Valley accuse each other of negligence in lawsuits filed last week in Superior Court.
In court papers filed Wednesday, the 28-year-old singer-actress contends that Ham caused the Dec. 30 crash on the San Diego Freeway in Sherman Oaks. She also denies allegations made against her in a previous lawsuit, asserts her Fifth Amendment privileges against self-incrimination and requests a jury trial.
"She's just responding to pieces of litigation as they come in and doesn't want to comment at this time," Edwin McPherson, an attorney representing Brandy, said Tuesday.
A California Highway Patrol report said Brandy's 2007 Range Rover failed to slow in traffic and was doing 65 mph when it struck another car that in turn was hit by Ham's vehicle.
The crash killed Awatef Aboudihaj, 38, of Los Angeles. Her husband has sued both Brandy and Ham for reckless driving. Aboudihaj's parents and her two children also have separate lawsuits pending against Brandy.
The city attorney's office is still deciding whether to charge Brandy with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, spokesman Frank Mateljan said Tuesday.
If charged and convicted, she could face up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

In a recent letter to her fans, Britney explains that she hit rock bottom. We love Britney so much and we truly want her to get better so she can come back better than ever!
So here's the letter she wrote to her fans,
"Dear Fans, I just wanted to reach out to all of you and explain some of the things that I have been faced with recently. It's so funny how many stories are put out there about people. It's like we all want our side of the story out there as well, but at the end of the day only a few people care to hear what is really going on since the bad is always so much more interesting than the truth. I don't know why, but this is so weird to me. I used to be angry at the tabloids for printing horrible things about me, but now I try to just be numb to what I see. I saw Tyra Banks once get really upset and cry on her show because they made her look fat. We all want a certain image of ourselves out there, and at some point we all do really care what other people think or we wouldn't be here. Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression. I was like a bad kid running around with ADD. I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce. I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn't know who to go to. I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost. This letter is to not place blame on anyone, although I do see the world with a completely different set of eyes now. Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me. I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life. You never know another persons intentions or what another person wants. I feel I was too open and looking for answers when I had it all to begin with. I have had to cut so many people out of my life. It is so sad, because if anyone is a family person...it is me. When I was little I remember every night watching movies with my family and feeling so at peace. Dancing and singing all the time just like a little girl should. Now recently I find with my children that I want them to have that feeling all of the time. I am having to face a lot of things right now since I have children of my own. A lot of insecurities from when I was little are coming up again. It is like we are never good enough. I know everyone thinks that I am playing the victim, but I am not and I hate what is going on right now so much. Maybe this is the reason for this letter...to maybe allow people to look at me differently. It is like when you are a real woman and say what you feel and how you think things are supposed to be, that people just say you are a "bitch." I feel like some of the people in my life made more of some issues than was necessary. I also feel like they knew I was beginning to use my brain for a change and cut some ties, so they wanted to be in more control of my life than me. I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce. I think it was a bigger issue because I had not gone out in such a long time. I am 25 and I do still have a lot to learn, and I am going to make mistakes everyday, and I am sure every mistake I make will probably be on CNN or Good Morning America. I am only human people and I love you for still loving me. I am sitting here at home and it is 6:25 and both of my sons are asleep. I am truly blessed to have them in my life. Everyday is so surreal. Life in general is so surreal and crazy. I just hope this letter made some of you think a little bit more of me and where I am coming from. I just want the same things in life that you want...and that is to be happy. It is just so weird because everyone has their own perception of me and how they think I really am. It is so weird how stories are told. There is your side, my side, and the truth. Somebody has to figure it out. I guess we will never really understand or figure out life completely. A spokesperson for Lindsay released the following statement,
"Lindsay admitted herself to an intensive medical rehabilitation facility on Memorial Day. Because this is a medical matter, it is our hope that the press will appreciate the seriousness of the situation and respect the privacy of Lindsay as well as the other patients receiving treatment at the facility."
Anyway, Get Well Lindsay! We need more Cady Heron roles like in Mean Girls! We loved you in that movie! And Still do! But You gotta get off the CRACK!

Young Jeezy, A.K.A. Jay Jenkins, was arrested last Thursday for getting into a violent argument at a suburban strip club in Atlanta. According to authorities, the incident occured at around 3 a.m. Michael Payne, a local police spokesman said, "Evidently there was some type of altercation in the club, someone didn't want to leave," Payne said. "It turns out one of the people in the group was Jay Jenkins or Young Jeezy. Evidently he was there with his sister and some friends."
EWWW who goes to a strip club with their sister!? AWKWARD!
Anyway, Young Jeezy was booked on disorderly conduct charges at the DeKalb jail and released. Payne said Jenkins' sister was given a citation for disorderly conduct but wasn't booked at the jail.
"There was no physical confrontation. It was all verbal and basically being belligerent," Payne said.
Like Kyle and I have been saying all this week...where are the good role models in the entertainment industry? Someone point it out to us!!! LOL

So you must admit, even a little bit, that The View will suck 'bananas' without Rosie O'Donnell.
Well, since her announcement that she won't be returning to The View, after the big blowup with Elisabeth, we think it's kinda sad. Well, at least I do. For what this truly means in America...
I think it's a shame how in a country that prides itself on being a free, being able to vote, being democratic, freedom of expression world, we can't even handle some controversy on a stupid television show.
If Rosie did one thing while being on The View, it was the ability to open up the minds & ears for us to hear what people have been talking about since 9/11.
It disgust me that we can't even speak our mind anymore...or were we ever allowed to?
Well, as you can see, I'm kind of frustrated that a stupid television show has so much power. It's sad to me that, as much as you or anyone may dislike Rosie, that she can't even return to work because of the reactions from the American public or that she can't even finish out the 3 weeks that she had planned.
And also, in regards to Donald Trump...he's an idiot for thinking that someone who is the CEO of a major company can go on national television and talk shit about people. What a great role model. Not that I'm arguing that either of them are great role models. But I must add, I was speaking to some of my friends this weekend about Trump...and they told me that because of Trumps participation and unacceptable behaviour in this whole thing....they do not support him anymore.
Also, I am sick & tired of people saying, "fat, ugly, loud mouth, lesbian, Rosie". Since when the hell does anyone have the right to attack someones personal being when criticizing the success/fall of someones career? They don't...enough said.
So long Rosie... We will miss you...

By the way...I am turning off the comments for the first time in this blog. You may ask why...but I feel that when someone does express their opinion, people should take it in, learn from it, etc, but not attack it. According to Fox News, Lindsay Lohan was involved in a car accident early Sunday morning. It is believed that Lohan was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Her car was towed and she went to the hospital to treat injuries.
The troubled actress, who was recently released from rehab, was cited for driving under the influence and released shortly thereafter "because she has been admitted to a local hospital for minor injuries," an LAPD rep said.
Lohan's Mercedes SL-65 2005 convertible struck a curb at 5:30 A.M. Saturday morning near her West Hollywood apartment..
Two other passengers were in the car while the inebriated party girl was driving. They received minor injuries and were also taken to the hospital.
Officers went to the scene after receiving a 911 call about the accident.
Lohan will have to appear in court at a later date to answer the DUI citation.
BUT WAIT! IT GETS BETTER!
Now the LAPD is revealing that police found cocaine in Lindsay's car!
Officers believe that Lindsay was speeding - under the influence of drugs/alcohol - and lost control of her car on Saturday morning. The car hit a crashed into a curb and a tree on Sunset Blvd, and Lohan was taken in another car to the Century City hospital.
Police received a 911 call about the accident after Lindsay abandoned her banged up Mercedes and fled the scene of the incident.
Officers "tracked Ms. Lohan to the local hospital, where she was ultimately placed under arrest" for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Lohan was cited and released. She faces serious drama when the matter heads to court. In addition to the drunk driving dilemma, she will also face felony criminal charges for the illegal narcotics in her car.
NOT ONLY DOES SHE CRASH HER CAR WHILE DRINKING AND THEN DRIVING BUT NOW THEY FIND COKE IN HER CAR! PLUS TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, LINDSAY FLEE'S THE FRICKING SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT! WHAT A TOOL!

I have this friend, his name is Jeffrey...and well...Jeffrey just feels like he doesn't need to get a cell phone. Well see....the problem is...Jeffrey is my personal stylist and one of my best friends.
So, when I'm having a problem trying to figure out something to wear and need his assistance, I CANT GET A HOLD OF HIM!

After like 4 years of knowing this kid, he's finally getting one!

Anyway what a show it was!
With lots of celebrities sitting aside the stage...millions tuned in at home to! I must say with people like Tony Bennett, Terri Hatcher, David Hasselhoff, Clive Davis, Jennnifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, Green Day, Taylor Hicks, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood, Jerry Springer...and the most chilling performance by Bette Midler.
Not only did Bette Midler sing her most well known song, "The Wind Beneathe My Wings"...I think it brough chills to everyone. Even Paula was dancing & singing along.
What a performance...it brought tears to my eyes...
Also...seeing Jordin cry at the end made me happy she won!
According to the Canadian Press, The Quebec-born diva confirmed Monday that she will tour for the first time in nine years to promote her new album, "D'elles," and will stop in Montreal and Toronto.
Dion told The Canadian Press she expects to be back in Montreal by August 2008.
"It's certain that I'll do shows in Montreal," she said during an interview at an exclusive golf club in Lake Las Vegas. "You know, I've travelled a lot, I've done many shows, but I haven't seen the world much. I'm going to take advantage of this world tour and my son gives a good opportunity."
"You know, having done a project for five years, it's like wearing the same bathrobe for five years," Dion said. "It was a security zone for me to wear this same bathrobe because it was a zone where I felt good."
This December, Dion will wrap up a successful five-year run at the Las Vegas hotel Caesar's Palace & return to her home in Montreal.
I can't wait for this concert! I bringing my mom! LOL

The stars of the new movie, "Mr. Brooks" all showed up to the LA premiere at the Chinese Theatre last night, includding Ashton Kutcher & his MILF of a wife Demi Moore.
As much as this movie looks really great, I think the plot line is a little old.

According to the Associated Press, Angelina Jolie plans on taking a break from films after this year.
She told the Press that she plans to spend more time with her "partner" Brad Pitt & children.
"We're getting work out of the way at the moment," said the 31-year-old actress, who has been shooting the thriller "Wanted" in Prague, Czech Republic.
After that, she said, "I take two months off, then I work for two months. Then I take a year off."
She told a Vietnamese newspaper in March that she would stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. "I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment," the Ho Chi Minh City Law newspaper quoted her as saying.
Somehow, I think that there is no way that these two will be able to avoid the spotlight for very long...lol.
Whether they are helping out some charity or Angelina working for the UN as an Ambassador, as much as she quotes she needs time away...this girl definitely loves the "spotlight".
Wow! Did any of you guys watch American Idol tonight!? It was GREAT! It's Finally a competition this season! Like I've been saying for some time...I really love Blake Lewis. I think he's a fantastic performer...but I really feel he would do far better off the show if he didn't win American Idol.
Although Blake is a much better performer, Jordin Sparks is a great singer & she's only Seventeen!
Therefore, I call that Jordin will win American Idol tomorrow night... But, Blake will do much better than she will. I guess it's just an opinion...right? lol...

According to CTV.ca News, the rock n' roll band, The Police are rehearsing for their summer tour in Vancouver, B.C.
Even their MySpace is getting ready for the comeback tour!

The Police began rehearsals at the Squamish Reserve in North Vancouver. The reserve is known for their complete privacy.
CTV reports that in a few days, the band will move their sound and stage equipment into GM Place for a few full rehearsals. May 27th is the first concert, at GM Place. Then they continue on to 29 cities over the summer.
